Jenna Hamilton-Rolle, SBMNH Director of Education 

The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and Sea Center are like two amazing cabinets of curiosities. This episode's guest is Jenna Hamilton-Rolle, Director of Education for the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History and Sea Center, whose sense of wonder is comes through in her enthusiasm for teaching about the natural world.


During Jenna Hamilton-Rolle's tenure with the Museum, her major focus has been engaging curious minds of all ages in science and nature programs through outdoor, inquiry-based learning to connect people to nature for the betterment of both. Jenna holds a Bachelors of Science in Molecular Biology and a Masters of Science in Earth Sciences. In addition to her position at the Museum, she has taught courses in the Earth and Planetary Sciences Department at Santa Barbara City College and is the Vice-Chair of the Community Development and Human Services Committee for the City of Santa Barbara. When she’s not working, she enjoys trail running, mountain biking, climbing, and, generally, playing in the dirt.
